resurrecting this post now that the game is out! has anyone played it yet?? im gonna stream it as soon as i get a copy

Of course, I understand the appeal of romancing a Prime, but it's tragic this game focuses on them to the exclusion of any other Cybertronian. For instance, I would argue medics are equally as critical--if not more critical--to the continued function of civilized society, and a medic like Ratchet, just as an example, would make an excellent dating candidate. The developers truly made an egregious error with this oversight.

All right guys, it's your favorite gamer, bartender, and everyone's best friend here with my long awaited review! Hot off the presses! Settle in and grab a drink (I happen to know a great place if you need a recommendation 😏)

First the facts: Primal Passions is your pretty basic dating sim. The player character doesn't have much personality other than what you shape with your choices as you go. There's lots of different decision points and routes so plenty of replay value. No real surprises when it comes to gameplay and mechanics if you're familiar with how dating sims work, it pretty solidly meets expectations in those areas.

Now for the dating candidates. There are 4 of them and yes they're all Primes: Nominus, Sentinel, Optimus, and Rodimus. There are rumors about a secret unlockable 5th candidate but no one's figured it out yet and there's not much detail I can find. As for the others....let's just say there are some hits and misses. Optimus was an obvious choice but including Rodimus has been kind of controversial. Personally I think both of them are done well and their routes are fun to play with some interesting story and very nice art. When it comes to Nominus and Sentinel though, I don't know what the devs were thinking. For some reason they make Nominus into sort of a shy nerd with some of the most cringeworthy romance scenes in the game which is definitely a choice. Sentinel basically comes off like a huge asshole so I guess there's that. Supposedly his story does have one good ending but I've only been able to get bad endings so far.

Hi everyone! I'm pretty new to Cybertron and a lot of things are different on Caminus where I'm from. I hope it's okay if I ask a few questions. Am I understanding right that this is a dating sim, but the characters are all based on actual Primes? Is there a religious element to the game?
